Meet Dr. Michael Fakih
Fakih IVF fertility centre started with the vision of Dr. Michael H. Fakih, a Consultant OB/GYN – IVF, recognized as a leader in the field of assisted reproduction who began his career in IVF in 1987. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Fakih is responsible for over 35,000 IVF deliveries. His continuous efforts and innovation of new techniques have made him a pioneer in his field. Dr. Fakih is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Fakih IVF, UAE, IVF Michigan, USA, and Founder of FIRST IVF, Lebanon. He has written over 40 medical publications.
Education:
Dr. Michael Fakih received his MD from American University of Beirut in 1981. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology before pursuing a Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University School of Medicine, USA. Later, in 1986, he pursued a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA.

Meet Dr. Walid Adnan Ghutmi
Dr. Walid Adnan is a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Walid started his career in private practice as an assistant medical director of FIRST-IVF in Beirut, one of the leading IVF centers in Lebanon.
During the next four years, Dr. Walid worked hard to improve his skills, performing more than 600 retrievals and transfers per year, including the then-popular ZIFT and GIFT procedures, hysteroscopies, and diagnostic and operative laparoscopies. Simultaneously, he was involved in the publication of five studies in international and regional journals.
By the end of 2003, he decided to start his own IVF unit. Eve Medical Center in Lebanon emerged in March 2004 and soon became one of the top units in Lebanon in terms of the number of annual IVF cases and success rate.
Recently, Dr. Walid was elected as president of the Lebanese fertility society (LFS) for the next term 2022-2024.

Meet Dr. Lamia Sayegh
Dr. Lamia Sayegh is a Reproductive Medicine and Infertility Specialist with over 8 years of experience. Dr. Lamia started her career with Fakih IVF Dubai back in 2013, after 2 years she moved back to Lebanon and continued to work with Fakih IVF Beirut- Lebanon for the next 5 years as a Specialist in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. She also worked as an attending physician of OB/GYN at Rafic Hariri University Hospital, Clemenceau Medical Centre, and Bahman Hospital.
