Prof. Dr. Human M. Fatemi graduated with a M.D. in 1999 at the “Vrije Universiteit Brussel” with magna cum laude. In 2005 he won the Pfizer Educational Grands as the best graduate fellow in gynecology in Brussels, Belgium. In 2008 he was recognized as a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery by ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction) and EBCOG (European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology). During his training and later on, also as a consultant, he has performed several studies in various fields of gynecology and reproductive medicine, and surgery. He successfully defended his PhD in endocrinology of the luteal phase in stimulated and substituted cycles in 2008 at the “Vrije universiteit Brussel”, Belgium. Human M. Fatemi is the author of more than 150 internationally peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters. He held more than 150 invited spoken presentations at international conferences. In 2009, at the age of 35, he received the title of “Clinical Professor” from the University of Brussels.

Dr. Barbara Lawrenz obtained her Medical Degree from Germany in 1989 and completed her specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1995. In 2004, she also gained expertise in Obstetrics and Prenatal Medicine followed by Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Lawrenz is an expert in fertility preservation before cytotoxic therapy in women with malignant diseases and fertility preservation for those undergoing cancer treatment and cancer survivors. She has authored/co-authored 65 pub-med reviewed articles in international journals and additional articles in various prestigious German journals. Dr. Lawrenz was the Head of the IVF Department at Women’s University Hospital Tubingen, Germany, and is an esteemed member of the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE).

Dr. Melado is Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/IVF for Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA). She completed her bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (University Autónoma in Madrid) in 2002, and her fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 4 years at the Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid (2003-2007), with a rating of Excellent. She completed her Habilitation Thesis on ¨AMH during controlled ovarian stimulation: variability and correlation with IVF outcomes¨ in 2015 with Cum Laude (University Autónoma in Madrid).
As a doctor, she has worked as Ob/Gyn and IVF and Fertility Consultant in Madrid, Spain. After moving to UAE, she joined IVIRMA Middle East in 2016, collaborating in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Clinic.
Dr. Laura Melado is an author of more than 25 internationally peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Her main research is focused on ovarian reserve and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), one of the most important markers for ovarian reserve.
She has participated as a speaker in several international conferences and is also a member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Spanish Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SEGO) and Spanish Fertility Society (SEF).

Dr. Carol Coughlan is an RCOG accredited subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. Dr Coughlan graduated with honours from University College Cork , Ireland in 1997. She was awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) in July 2013 from the University of Sheffield, UK. Her MD thesis focused on recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage resulting in many publications and presentations both nationally and internationally. She has an interest in fertility preservation particularly for oncology reasons and prior to relocating to the UAE held the position of Clinical Director, Rotunda/IVF , the National Oncofertility Centre at Rotunda Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.
